Hello!

Hi there, I'm Rachel, a portrait and wedding photographer based in Washington DC and NYC. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Film from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master's degree in Film Studies from the University of Edinburgh, I have spent over 15 years honing my skills and deepening my understanding of photography as an art form. Currently residing in Northern Virginia and traveling to New York City often, I’m fortunate to have grown up in the DC area surrounded by both historical landmarks and breathtaking natural wonders, fostering my love for capturing people in these remarkable locations. When I'm not behind the camera, I’m often delving into the world of mid-century design, watching films and going on hikes with my husband, Jamie. Oh, and I can’t forget about our long-haired cat, Finn, who keeps us on our toes at home.
